The cap "sits" well on the head even when the wind is rushing. It is hand knitted with a pattern and if it was 100% wool yarn it would be absolutely perfect. Because the pompom is a different color, I wear the hat with or without it.That was when I was a kid and bigger and my mom knitted for my sports-skating and skiing. I'm not allowed to knit for health reasons.
